Exercise your rights as a Personal Data Holder.
General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
The General Data Protection Law (LGPD) guarantees the exercise of the following rights over your personal data:
1. Access: you can request confirmation of the processing of your personal data and access to it;
2. Data correction: you can request the modification of your personal data that we have collected, if it is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date;
3. Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information that was provided to you with your consent;
4. Revocation of consent: if you have consented to any Ford activity that involves the processing of your personal data, you can withdraw that consent and we will no longer process your personal data from that point on. You also have the right to know the consequences of not providing or revoking your consent;
5. Sharing personal data with third parties: you can request information about which public or private entities Ford shared your personal data with (i.e., with whom we shared your personal data and for what purpose we did so);
6. Review of automated decisions: you can request the review of decisions taken solely on the basis of automated processing of personal data that, for example, determine your personal, professional, consumer, or credit profile;
7. Others: anonymity, blocking or deletion of unnecessary, excessive data or data processed in non-compliance with the LGPD;
You can exercise your LGPD rights by using the form below to send us your request(s). If you wish to exercise more than one of your rights under the LGPD, please send us separate requests, as this will help us to deal with such requests more efficiently. Please be aware that we will consider your requests in the order in which we receive them. To do this, we will confirm certain information about you (to verify your identity and confirm whether we hold personal data about you). We may also need to contact you to deal with your request.
In some cases, we may not be able to comply with your requests. For example, if we are unable to verify your identity, we may not be able to access or delete your data. Additionally, if any of the exceptions set out in the LGPD apply (for example, if the processing of such personal data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation), we may not be able to delete your personal data. If this is the case, we will contact you to explain why we are unable to comply with your request.
Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.
*Please note that the LGPD is applicable if: (i) your personal data was collected in Brazil; (ii) your personal data was processed in Brazil; or (iii) your data was collected to offer or provide goods or services to people located in Brazil.
